Natural Family
The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging
through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts,
hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms,
inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending,
and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together.

Bill, Crystal & kiddo’s what a fun family. We headed over to Garden of the Gods. I had not been there before, though I have seen pictures, and now that I have been there - it truly is a Garden for the Gods - it is beautiful and gave a lot of fun places to take pictures of this crew. They were way to much fun and looking forward to engagement & wedding pictures - I have no doubt we will have a blast!

I do's
had such a fantastic wedding. When we first met to talk about my being their photographer, I was hoping they would choose me, when they did I could not wait to be a part of the fun. The invitations were hand drawn by Deanna herself, she drew from a “old” western photography they had taken, and that started the creative juices flowing. They went with a victorian western wedding theme, everyone was dressed up as cowboys, saloon girls, victorian ladies or gun fighters. A photographer friend of mine, Clayton, joined me to capture the day; he and I both sported bowler hats, vest, western ties, arm bands and I even sported a handlebar mustache (since they did not have female photographers back in the 1800’s)
The wedding was at Shove Chapel in Colorado Springs, and with it being my first time to shoot there, it offered so many amazing opportunities to catch the ambience. Including the four story spiral stair case hike to the top of the Bell Tower - Simply amazing!
We also had a special guest, Prowler the Tiger (the mascot at Colorado College), I heard through the grapevine that the groom was Prowler for several years.
I have no doubt that Deanna and Kevin will have a life full of family, friends, laughter & love. Thank you for letting us be part of your very amazing day and wishing you both the very best!
